Leiden English Choir – Welcome

Leiden English Choir is an international amateur choir of 40 enthusiastic singers who perform choral music from all over the world and from many different time periods.  The choir began in 1973 in the English faculty at Leiden University (hence the name Leiden English Choir), and is conducted by Hebe de Champeaux and our accompanist is Oskar Bles.

The choir gives 2 concerts per year.  The spring concert is a major choral work or a collection of pieces on a specific theme.  The Christmas concert is a more traditional international Christmas carol concert.

Leiden English Choir is looking for tenors and basses! We welcome singers from abroad, i.e. international students and faculty members.  For more information, contact the choir secretary Gert Brussen, email: infolecleiden@gmail.com.
